Sixth Form Examinations

It has been another successful year for students studying post 16 courses at The Coleshill School. There have been many excellent results and individual successes and the whole school community can be proud of what has been achieved. The results reflect the inclusive nature of the sixth form and the diverse range of subjects and courses that we offer.

Ian Smith-Childs, the Headteacher, said, ‘We are extremely pleased with the performance of our students. These results are the culmination of the students’ hard work, the dedication of their teachers and the support of the sixth form team who have supported them on a daily basis.’

Alongside our traditional A level and BTEC students this year we are also proud to recognise the continued success of the football academy students. Not only have they had success on the football field but they have also secured some great results in their level 2 and 3 sport diplomas and a number jhave gone on to study at University.

Elsewhere, our students have been supported to achieve their desired destinations. Of those who chose to go to University, most were accepted at their first choice institutions the length and breadth of the UK and  34% gained places at Russell Group institutions, including Birmingham, Cardiff, Nottingham and Other students have gone onto training and apprenticeships with a diverse range of companies including two students who gained prestigious apprenticeship placements with KPMG.
